CR&F marked its 130th anniversary with the launch of a special edition: the XO Cask Strength brandy, a limited edition of only 365 numbered bottles, from a single cask and bottled directly from the barrel. This launch celebrates know-how, mastery, and time — values that have shaped the brand's identity since 1895.
Discovered by the house's winemakers during one of their rigorous selection journeys, this brandy remained reserved since 1980, awaiting the ideal moment to be revealed. The CR&F XO Cask Strength is presented as a pure and intervention-free brandy, bottled in its most genuine expression. Visually, it exhibits a golden-amber colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, notes of sea air, bitter almond and saline nuances stand out, enveloped by hints of iodine and salted caramel. In the mouth, it reveals itself to be intense and iodised, with salted caramel very present, a long finish and an elegant integration of wood.
