Description
Ginjinha is an alcohol-based liqueur made from the maceration of ginja fruit, which is very similar to cherries in both appearance and taste. Produced with only natural ingredients and no artificial preservatives, it results in a drink that combines sweet and slightly bitter notes with a delicate hint of cinnamon.
Due to its smoothness and sweetness, it is quite easy to drink. Traditionally, it is served in small glasses (shots) and should be consumed in one go. It can be enjoyed with or without the ginjas in the glass — a choice that is left to personal preference.
