Description
This white wine was created as a tribute to Armindo de Sousa Pereira, who was responsible for giving new life to the historic Vinho dos Mortos (Wine of the Dead), a family tradition of Casa Sousa (1792) preserved since the period of the French invasions in Portugal.
"Mindo," as he was affectionately known, used to say: "The Wine of the Dead cheers the living." This inspiration led to Alegria dos Vivos (Joy of the Living), as the complementary face of this legacy. If Vinho dos Mortos represents memory and resilience, this wine symbolizes celebration and vitality.
Produced from old vineyards in Trás-os-Montes, it carries the joy, history, and soul of a region where tradition remains alive in every bottle.
