Description
O Casa Ferreirinha Reserva Especial 2017 chega ao mercado após cerca de dois anos de estágio em madeira e quase sete anos de envelhecimento em garrafa. Produzido maioritariamente com uvas da Quinta da Leda e de parcelas em altitude na região de Meda, resulta de um ano vitícola extremamente quente e seco, em que o rigor na vinha e na adega foi determinante para preservar a frescura e a elegância do vinho.
De cor rubi profunda, apresenta aromas intensos de fruta preta e vermelha madura, cacau, chocolate, trufa e especiarias. Na boca, destaca-se pelo excelente volume, taninos firmes, acidez equilibrada e um final longo e poderoso.
Para Luís de Sottomayor, o Reserva Especial 2017 evidencia um equilíbrio notável, alcançado graças à altitude e ao trabalho enológico, revelando um perfil de grande delicadeza e elegância que o aproxima do universo Barca-Velha, mas com identidade própria.
