A Sub-Região de Amarante é marcada por um conjunto de vales moldados pelos rios Douro e Tâmega. A sua localização, afastada do Oceano Atlântico e protegida pela Serra do Marão, confere-lhe condições únicas de temperatura e humidade no contexto da Região dos Vinhos Verdes.
Os solos, predominantemente pobres e de origem granítica arenosa, apresentam uma excelente capacidade de drenagem, favorecendo o desenvolvimento equilibrado da vinha. Estas características naturais permitem uma maturação harmoniosa das uvas, dando origem a vinhos elegantes, complexos, de marcada mineralidade e grande expressão aromática.
Vinho de aroma floral elegante, enriquecido por delicadas notas de frutos silvestres. Na boca revela-se suave, com bom volume e excelente equilíbrio, culminando num final longo e persistente.
