Description
This wine comes from two vineyards – Vinha do Rio and Vinha do Janeanes – planted in alluvial and schist soils, with the Arinto and Rabigato grape varieties, respectively.
Fermentation took place in 500-liter barrels from several cooperages, with 25% new barrels and the remainder being second and third year barrels. Ageing lasted for 5 months in barrel with periodic bâtonnage, followed by 4 months in vats, having been bottled in July 2024.
It presents a very mineral profile, with discreet and well-integrated wood, excellent mouthfeel, citrus character and a long and complex finish.
