Description
Parcel 29 of Quinta Nova, planted with the Touriga Nacional grape, truly represents a unique gem in the history of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo. With 3300 vines on a 20% slope and located between 170 and 205 meters of altitude, it captures the entire essence of the region's terroir. This parcel, along with the century-old vineyard of Parcel 21, results in a wine with a very elegant, almost feminine profile, with an intense structure of juicy and extremely precise tannins. The schist texture, high gravity, sappy profile, and purple color perfectly reflect the vibrant and expressive nature of Touriga Nacional. It is truly a benchmark example in the Douro.
