Burmester was founded in 1730 and began exporting Port wine in 1750, from Vila Nova de Gaia. Over the centuries, it has stood out for its quality and tradition, becoming an international reference. It is especially renowned for its Vintage Port wines, but also produces excellent Vintage Ports. Currently, it belongs to the Sogevinus Group, which keeps its legacy alive.
