Description
Colheita Port comes from a single harvest (colheita) and, unlike Tawnies with an age indication (10, 20, 30, 40 years...), the label always indicates the harvest year. However, it should not be confused with a Vintage Port. Colheita must age for at least seven years in oak casks, although its refined aromas and flavours only achieve great complexity after long years, as in the case of a rare 1952 Golden White, bottled in 2009 after 57 years in wood.
