The Ferreira brand, referenced since 1751, is an icon of Port Wine and the history of the Douro Demarcated Region. Under the leadership of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, a prominent figure known for her vision and dedication, the company prospered in viticulture and social action. After her death, the house was transformed into a limited liability company, maintaining its values of quality and tradition. These principles underpinned the creation of emblematic wines such as Barca Velha. Since 1987, under the management of Sogrape Vinhos, Ferreira continues to stand out in the market with excellent brands, such as Quinta da Leda.
