Description
Porto Vale da Teja Branco is made from traditional Douro grape varieties, from vines over 15 years old located in the Vale da Teja, Douro Superior, in schist soils. After destemming and fermentation with skin maceration, fermentation is interrupted with grape brandy, followed by ageing in stainless steel and then in old oak casks. The final blend results from wines with an average age of 7 years. It has a tawny colour, a complex aroma with fruity and honey notes. On the palate, it is rich, structured, and has a persistent finish. It can be served chilled or at room temperature.
