Description
An exceptional Port wine, from the historic Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in the heart of the Douro. The 2000 harvest proved to be remarkable, resulting in a Vintage with great ageing potential.
It has a deep, dark colour, with intense aromas of ripe black fruits, notes of chocolate and a subtle hint of spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm and elegant tannins that promise harmonious evolution over the years.
