Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is the result of combining two iconic single malts from Nikka Whisky, uniting the robust character of Yoichi with the elegance and precision of Miyagikyo. Simultaneously masculine and feminine, traditional and innovative, this exceptional pure malt whisky pays homage to Masataka Taketsuru, considered the father of Japanese whisky and founder of Nikka.
Engaging from the first contact, it reveals a fresh and fruity nose, evoking freshly squeezed fruit juice, with an abundance of white fruits, peach, and juicy grapes. Gradually, it evolves into delicate pastry and biscuit notes, reminiscent of an Italian panettone with raisins.
Malt notes stand out and give way to citrus aromas, such as clementine, accompanied by a subtle hint of oak and more rustic nuances of verbena and chamomile, composing a complex and harmonious aromatic profile.
