Togouchi is a very special and different whisky from other Japanese producers. It is produced by Chugoku Jozo and stands out for maturing its whisky in tunnels, instead of using traditional warehouses. The name Togouchi comes from the location of the tunnel, in the town of Togouchi, which at the time merged with other towns to form Akiota. This blended whisky is considered the purest and most premium expression of the line, with no age statement, which reinforces its quality and exclusivity. It is an excellent choice for those looking for a Japanese whisky with a unique maturation method and a refined flavor.
